1984?

         This cellphone spying is outrageous.

Since this Carrier IQ story broke last week, we’ve learned that the company’s spying technology is present on 141 million phones. Phone manufacturers HTC and Samsung have been hit with lawsuits and European regulators have vowed to investigate. Meanwhile, Sen. Al Franken, Rep. Ed Markey and thousands of Americans have pressed Carrier IQ and AT&T, Sprint and T-Mobile to reveal what they are doing with our sensitive information.

Are they recording our text messages? Spying on our Web surfing? Tracking who we call? Free Press is determined to get to the bottom of this.
If you haven’t already, urge your member of Congress and the Justice Department to investigate this story. Then share this action on Facebook. We must stop big companies from abusing our mobile rights.
Thanks — Josh
